What kinds of equipment and facilities do you need to control the wind flow downhole?

In order to ensure that fresh air is sent to each working surface, the sewage is discharged to the ground according to a certain route. The wind flow cannot be allowed to be naturally distributed in the well, and must be controlled so that the ventilation of all working faces is in good condition. The equipment for controlling the wind flow has wind windows, wind bridges, closed walls and dampers.

First, the wind window

The amount of wind that is naturally branched in the parallel roadway often does not match the actual amount. In order to achieve the actual required air volume, adjustment must be made. This can be achieved with a wind window. The wind window diagram is shown in Figure 1.

Second, the wind bridge

It is a structure to avoid the intersection of fresh wind and dirty wind. Wind bridges are generally established in the following two situations:

(1) When there is an intersection at the roadway where fresh airflow and dirty airflow are calculated, a concrete wind bridge shall be constructed at the intersection of the two lanes. Lane 1 enters the fresh air, and lane 2 takes the wind, as shown in Figure 2.

A bypass type wind bridge must also be dug near the patio. The schematic diagram of the wind bridge is shown in Figure 3. In the figure, 1 is the return air patio, and 2 are entering the fresh air tunnel. This kind of roadway is mostly located where the air volume is greater than 20m 3 /s.

(2) When encountering two intersecting lanes, one takes a fresh wind and one takes a dirty wind. In order to separate the fresh air from the dirty wind, it is also necessary to construct a wind bridge. As shown in Figure 4. It is a wind bridge structure that separates fresh air from dirty air with an iron duct. In the figure, 1 is fresh and windy, 2 is dirty, 3 is the iron duct of the sewage, 4 is the partition wall of fresh air and dirty wind, and 5 is the sidewalk. This kind of wind bridge is mostly used in places below 10m 3 /s.

(3) Closed wall

The wall constructed by bricks, concrete and other materials such as goafs and waste roadways is closed to prevent air leakage in the ventilation roadway to ensure sufficient air volume on the working surface.

(four) damper

In the roadway that needs to block the airflow and need pedestrians or transportation, the damper can be set. Now the automatic damper is generally used, as shown in Fig. 5.

The damper is automatically opened and closed by the damper that the water cylinder and the counterweight cooperate with each other. When the water is stopped and the power is cut off, the damper is opened, which is safe and reliable.
